Nucleoplasty

Nucleoplasty is a process of using heat to help reduce the pressure that is being placed on the herniated disc's nucleau, or center.  This heat is produced by bipolar radiofrequency and is completely safe to use.  This technology creates what is a energy field. 

By lowering the actual amount of pressure on the nucleus, this procedure will reduce the amount of pain that you feel.  The process is simplified in most cases and can be done for most patients.

The benefit here is that although this method uses heat to dissolve what is called the dark tissue in the area, it doesn't produce too much heat that can cause pain and problems with the surrounding structures in the disc.
